Pulse of Africa Music began with a simple belief: that the most exciting pop music on the planet right now is being made between Lagos, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Bulawayo and a hundred other cities you may have never visited.

We exist to put that music — and the people making it — in front of the audience it deserves. We publish daily news, premieres and interviews. We commission long-form reporting on the movements shaping the sound. We program live events. And we collaborate with the artists, photographers and writers who live this culture.
